Thanks to ISOTECH consultancy and support, today Alfanar is capable of offering to the market, state-of-the-art solutions for oil-immersed transformers. A complete range of distribution transformers designed to grant reliability, durability, and efficiency required in utility, industrial, and commercial applications. Alfanar oil-immersed transformers are manufactured in compliance with the most demanding industry and international standards. The transformer portfolio covers oil-immersed, pole mounted, pad mounted and unit/package substation three phase distribution transformers, for distribution networks up to 10 MVA and 36 kV system voltages which can be used for indoor or outdoor applications.

Main local clients include Saudi Electricity Company (Transmission and Generation) and the private sector in Saudi Arabia, as well as international customers in Sudan, Ghana, Jordan, Ethiopia, Sharjah Electricity and Water Authority in UAE (SEWA) and Iraq. The complete factory process phases from design and production through to final tests have been organised through ISOTECH support and coordination, including the supply and commissioning of production and testing equipment. ISOTECH has also supported ALFANAR in the design, construction and testing of the first three oil-immersed oval windings transformers, for complete Routine, Special and Type tests at the CESI and KEMA Laboratories. Today the yearly production capacity of the ALFANAR transformer factory is 7500 distribution oil-immersed transformers on a modern workshop area of 20,000 sq. metres, almost all of which covered, exploiting the orders and projects acquired.
